There is a distinct kind of magic in the final stages of a project—the moment when a vision of stone, wood, and fire finally begins to feel like a home.

While everything remains calm and still across at our cabins, we have secretly been very busy just across the pretty country lane. We are officially putting the finishing touches on two brand-new, fully detached cottage retreats.

Sitting in their own private country courtyard, these two  sanctuaries are designed for ultimate relaxation, each cottage features its own private outdoor shower, a two-person infrared sauna, and a hidden wild meadow garden equipped with steamer chairs and a rustic fire pit for night-time stargazing.

A Tale of Two Characters

While they share the same high-end amenities, outdoor spa luxuries, and fully equipped kitchens, their interior souls are different.

The first is The Dovecote. It is a space that feels wonderfully bright and uplifting, boasting high ceilings and a  palette of soft, elegant neutrals.

As for its sister cottage, The Rookery? We are keeping that interior under wraps for just a few more days. It is a cozy hideaway designed for rich, cocooning comfort, finished in atmospheric olive tones and beautiful beamed ceilings—and we promise it is worth the wait.
